Lima is ready to welcome you!!!

Thank you for registering to attend the 34th Annual TravelMart LatinAmerica, September 22, 23, 24, 2010 in Lima, Peru at the Real Felipe Fortress. We are very pleased that you will be joining us for what we believe is the most essential business development event of the year for Latin America Tourism. Here is some important information that will help you plan your trip.

Dates & Location:
TravelMart LatinAmerica business sessions will take place at the recently renovated Real Felipe Fortress. Real Felipe is located in the Callao district near Lima’s International Airport. The city of Lima is booming with lots of traffic, and the transfer time to the Convention Center from ALL Host Hotels will be approximately 45 minutes. The Host Committee has some surprises planned to make the transfer time more “enjoyable.”

Hotel Accommodations:
Suppliers are responsible for making their own reservations at any of the official participating host hotels.

Accommodations for Buyers are included as part of the Buyer registration fee and are only for the nights of September 22, 23, 24, 2010. Early arrival and extension arrangements must be made by each delegate directly with the hotel. You should have already received your hotel assignment with your confirmation letter, unless your registration fees remain unpaid. Pre and Post Tour Information:
APOTUR (Peruvian Association of Incoming Tour Operators) is offering a variety of pre and post tours. For information and to register for all tour options, “Click & Connect” HERE.

Airline Discounts:
American Airlines, LAN, and TACA are offering discounted air-fares for registered and confirmed participants. More airlines may offer discounts in the weeks and months ahead as they confirm their attendance. For information about airline discounts, reservations, and ticketing, “Click & Connect” HERE.

Airport Transfers:
Airport Transportation is provided from Lima’s International Airport to all host hotels during official arrival periods (September 21 & 22) and departure day (September 25). Complimentary transfers can not be provided at other times. Airport transfer details must be received no later than August 31. To submit your airport arrival details, please “Click & Connect” HERE.

Online Directory and “Select-Match” Appointment Request System:
The Online Directory with instructions on how to request appointments will be available August 11, 2010. Delegates will have 2 to 3 weeks to submit requests. The appointment system allows Buyers to see whom they want to see by scheduling only Buyer/Supplier perfect match requests and buyer requests. All Buyer companies must submit appointment requests. Suppliers are responsible for marketing their Company to Buyers, so it will be very important for Suppliers to contact the Buyers they want to meet and ask them to request an appointment using the online appointment request system.

Seminars:
LATA (Latin American Travel Association) based in London will hold a seminar on Wednesday, September 22 at 4:00pm at the Convention Center. All Suppliers are invited. LATA is encouraging Suppliers to RSVP in advance, and to submit specific topics or questions. For more information about the LATA seminar, please “Click & Connect” HERE.

Rainforest Alliance invites everyone to “Follow the Green Trail” during Travel Mart Latin America and learn about Eco-Tourism businesses that are making a difference! “The Green Trail” identifies Suppliers that are participating in the Rainforest Alliance’s Sustainable Tourism Program in Latin America. Rainforest Alliance Supplier members will display a special logo in their stand, and Buyers will receive a list of members when they arrive on-site. Rainforest Alliance is holding a seminar for all Buyers and Suppliers just before the start of business meetings on Thursday, September 23. For more information “Click & Connect” HERE.

There are no additional fees for Seminars; they are open to all TravelMart LatinAmerica delegates!
